Storage Charges Policy
Storage Charges Policy - Australia
ISR Industrial Shelving and Racking offers shipping terms to allow customers the choice to better manage the risk and cost associated with the transportation of goods.
We will issue a Dispatch Advice on the Dispatch Date to confirm that the goods have been dispatched and are ready for shipping. Where the customer has selected pick up shipping terms the customer must organise shipping of the goods. Where the customer has selected our shipping terms, ISR Industrial Shelving and Racking will organise shipping of the goods on the customers behalf.
Where the goods are not shipped on the Dispatch Date, customers will be advised that shipping must take place within 5 working days of the Dispatch Date before storage charges will be incurred. Storage charges will be backdated to the Dispatch Date and will be calculated as per the formula below.
At its discretion, ISR Industrial Shelving and Racking may use a third party storage provider or provide storage at its own facility on behalf of the customer. This will have no bearing on the calculation of storage charges. All costs and risks associated with storage remain the responsibility of the customer.
Formula for calculation of Storage Charges:
- Customers will be advised that Storage charges are applicable for goods not shipped on the Dispatch Date under our shipping terms.
- Where goods are not shipped within 5 working days, storage charges will be applicable from the Dispatch Date until the goods are eventually shipped.
- Storage charges will be calculated, charged and invoiced in weekly increments. Storage charges are calculated as follows:
- $300.00 plus GST administration and services charge + $75.00 plus GST per linear metre for bundled packages + $45.00 plus GST per standard pallet per week (or part thereof) – invoiced weekly.
Where goods are in a third party storage facility, customers will be advised of the address details for the collection and shipping of the goods from the nominated third party storage facility.
The Invoice date for all goods is the date on the Dispatch Advice irrespective of whether the goods remain in storage.
